I loved the little touches like the complimentary coffee machine in the lobby, perfect for my caffeine fix. The staff were great too assist us, even arranging a transfer to the airport.

Close to at least 3 different metro line stops. Close to Bastille square, which is packed with nice restaurants etc. I got a room with a small balcony.
The hotel was very basic: high prices as in all the hotels in Paris.

Lady on reception was helpful
First impression was not good , dirty floor peeling lino and not an appealing entrance. Bedroom was basic but clean and comfortable. Ideal for young cost conscious back packers.

Thank you for a perfect stay. It's a charming small and functional hotel. The superior queen room is newly decorated, we also appreciated exceptional views. The property provides a good service. There's overnight parking available and very good internet too. There is a tapas restaurant on site.
The bathrooms are too small.

Rooms were comfortable with a charming view of the park. The location was fantastic, surrounded by local cafés and easy access to public transport. The free coffee machine in the lobby was a nice added touch, perfect for my morning routine. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant suggestions. The breakfast options were nice in quality but somewhat limited, primarily with cold cuts and pastries, which may not satisfy everyone. A great cozy spot with some minor drawbacks.

I liked the friendly staff, and the quiet park setting we had outside our window.
It was small by US standards, but had most of the amenities. An alarm clock would have been nice as there was no phone for a wake up call.

We stayed one night while passing through Paris. We arrived on a late train and left on an early train. We needed somewhere close to the train station but not so expensive. The Garden Hotel was a good solution.

Staying at this cozy spot, we loved the nearby Canal Saint-Martin, perfect for our daily strolls. The staff was friendly and made check-in smooth despite our family of four, including two teenagers. We also enjoyed a great coffee shop just steps away.
My kids wished for more room for their luggage.

The bed made me itch. All the power sockets didn't have any power. It was noisy. It smelt. Toilet seat was broken. Shower was mouldy. Windows were left open.

The location across from gardette park is charming and calming. It's a short 5-minute walk to the st ambroise metro. Especially the friendly lady at the desk in the morning. Plus, I loved the cozy cafes nearby.

Where do I begin? My experience at Gardette Park was amazing. I typically don't review places online too often, but my stay here was fantastic. The staff was multi-lingual and exceptionally helpful and nice. For Paris, the price is hard to beat. It is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Our little balcony overlooked a park and provided nice and peaceful evenings. We were within short walking distance to metro stations Saint-Ambroise and Voltaire which provided for quick access to the rest of Paris. There were plenty of local places in the Bastille area which provided a more authentic Parisian experience than the main touristy areas. No continental breakfast, but the breakfast for 7.50 euro a person included unlimited coffee, some pastries, yogurt, dates, french bread with spreadable cheese...well worth the value considering what you would get for that price in town. The rooms are small but recently remodeled and cozy. Traveling, in our experience, doesn't involve spending much time in the hotel anyways. All in all, we would return here in a heart beat. If you are looking for a slightly cheaper alternative to staying in City Centre and would like a great experience, this is your place!

The room was surprisingly spacious for Paris, and I really appreciated the free coffee machine that was a great perk for morning caffeine fixes. I enjoyed unwinding in the cozy lounge and catching up on my favorite shows in the entertainment area. Just a heads up, the breakfast selection was a bit on the limited side, but the quality was top-notch! ☕
